Qastrocam-g2 Philips cameras support on ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Hello,

I'm still working on the philips cameras support on the new kernels. The pwc driver available with the

ubuntu 12.04 LTS is bugged and imcomplete. Our cameras won't work on this release. If you really

need to use your webcam, I recommend you to use the last kernel 2.6 release, with the ubuntu 10.04 LTS and

qastrocam-g2_beta20110115.

I'm using Mageia and would compil qastrocam-g2.. it's a pain... (I've stopped it)
-> libavifile is a deprecated thing
-> qt3...

Di you want help to port qastrocam on qt4 ? May be thinking with some lib as opencv may be an improvement ?

I'm too busy to really support qastrocam-g2. Migrating qastrocam-g2 to QT4 is a huge job.


In my mind, we should rewrite a new app. I'm thinking about helping the Ekos project. It's certainly a better choice.
