Hello !

I found a very low cost B/W camera for planetary imaging on ebay. Follow this link : link

I just received my new toy yesterday. It's Point Grey Research FireFly MV, with an 1/3" CMOS with global shutter, able to reach 30 to 60 frames per second (8 bits or 10 bits).

Dynamic range is nice, high sensitivity in near IR, low noise, but a lot of hot pixel. This sensor should be cooled. Max exposure is about 1/7.5 fps. Ambiante temperature is about 28°C

As you can see, a lot of hot pixels, but very low read noise.

To be continued...

Best regards !
